What does the Trading Account offer?
The Trading Account offers online and telephone access, with shares held electronically on your behalf in our nominee name. Your trades are automatically settled with funds either being credited to, or debited from your account.
Who is it for?
The Trading Account is ideal for frequent traders who wish to trade UK shares. If you would like to trade internationally or in warrants/Covered Warrants, you should consider the Trading Plus Account.
What are the investment options with this account?
You can invest in wide range of investment options, including UK equities, gilts, bonds, investment trusts, unit trusts, OEICs & Exchange Traded Funds.
How much does it cost?
Online trading is offered at a flat fee of only £12.50. Find out more about our rates and charges.
We do make an account maintenance charge, the Account Management Fee, for the supply of account services. This fee is applicable to accounts where we provide nominee and/or cash management facilities, but is only levied against accounts that have not traded in the previous quarter and that have a cash and/or stock balance of less than £5,000. This fee is £10 + VAT per quarter.
