Cash Withdrawal
Can I withdraw money in a currency other than sterling?
You can withdraw money from your account in the following currencies
- Sterling
- Euros
- US Dollars
- Canadian Dollars
- Hong Kong Dollars
- Singapore Dollars
- Australian Dollars
To withdraw money online log into your account and click Withdraw Money/Transfer Money on the Payments & Transfers drop down menu. You can then select the type of withdrawal that you wish to make.
Standard Bank Transfers are free and are available for Sterling and Euro withdrawals to most European Banks.
Urgent Transfers can be requested for Sterling, Euro, Canadian Dollars and US Dollars. Most urgent transfers will be received by your bank on the same day as your request as long as it the request is made before mid-day.
Some overseas transfers may take longer to reach your bank. If funds have not arrived with your bank after 5 days of the money being withdrawn from your TD Waterhouse account please check the payee details and contact the receiving bank in the first instance.
You can transfer money in any currency to another TD Waterhouse account.
Cheques can be requested in Sterling only.
You are able to save bank details for future withdrawals using our payee system.
You can add an unlimited number of Sterling payees for UK bank accounts including to third parties. You can also set one payee each for Sterling payments to overseas bank accounts and one Euro bank account, one US Dollar account and one Canadian Dollar account in either the UK or overseas.
