Transferring UK shares to TD Waterhouse is easy, simply complete the appropriate form for the type of transfer you wish to make and return it to:

I want to transfer in shares held by another broker

Existing TD Waterhouse Customers
To transfer stock that is currently held for you by another broker complete and return our Asset Transfer Form and we will do the rest.

New TD Waterhouse
You will need to open a Trading Account with Nominee facilities.

Apply online

Once your account is open and you have your account number, complete and return our Asset Transfer Form.

The Transfer Process normally takes about 4 weeks.

We do not charge a transfer in fee, but there may be an exit fee from your current provider.

I want to transfer in shares held in certificates

Existing TD Waterhouse Customers
Complete and sign a CREST Transfer Form for each stock held and return to us with your share certificates.

Use Our CREST Transfer Forms to create pre-filled CREST Transfer Forms which you can print, sign and return to us.

New to TD Waterhouse

You will need to open a Trading Account with Nominee facilities.

Apply online

Once your account is open and you have your account number, complete and return our CREST Transfer Form.

Go to CREST Transfer Form Generator

Send your certificates and completed CREST Transfer Forms for each of the stocks you wish to transfer to us.

The Transfer Process takes approximately 10 working days.

I want to transfer an existing ISA to TD Waterhouse

To transfer an existing ISA to us, complete and return our ISA Transfer Form and we will do the rest.

The Transfer process normally takes about 4-6 weeks.

We do not charge a transfer fee, but there may be an exit fee from your current provider.


I want to transfer in stock into an existing ISA

Although it is not possible to transfer existing share holdings directly into an ISA, we can help you sell them and re-purchase them within the ISA wrapper; this is called BED & ISA. For further details call our Customer Services Team on 0845 607 6002.
